Reviews and Ratings
I had an overall wonderful stay at this guesthouse, with great hospitality and the added benefit of free bike rentals. The guesthouse is next to a river and offers a relaxed atmosphere. However, the location is a bit far from the main attractions, taking about 30 minutes to walk to the castle. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and provide decent value for the price.
Staying at Seifuso was a delightful experience, thanks to its charming atmosphere and generous amenities. I loved the free bicycles and the hand-drawn maps that made exploring easy and enjoyable. The room was comfortable and clean, although it's not the most luxurious of ryokans. The personalized service was top-notch, and the breakfast was delicious, meeting dietary needs with care. It is definitely a great value for money, though the location requires a bit of biking to reach downtown.
I had a fantastic experience at this inn! The service was exceptional, with attentive owners who made me feel truly at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, featuring traditional futon bedding. However, the location was a bit far from the downtown area, which made it less convenient for evening outings. Overall, it’s a great value for money, especially with the complimentary bikes and the delicious breakfast options.
I had a great first night at this ryokan during my trip to Japan. The staff were incredibly accommodating, providing a free shuttle from the station when we arrived. The rooms were basic but comfortable, and the breakfast options were quite good. However, the location is a bit far from the main attractions, requiring a decent walk or bike ride to get into town.
Staying at the ryokan was a delightful experience that truly felt like a home away from home. The friendly family running the place made our stay memorable, and we loved the tranquil location by the river, which was just a short bike ride from the city center. The rooms were comfortable, though the variety was a bit limited. The breakfast was fantastic, and we enjoyed the communal bath, but the Wi-Fi could use some improvement. Overall, it offers great value for a unique stay in Matsumoto.
